The ICAR-NIPB is conducting a walk-in/online interview for the recruitment of a Senior Research Fellow. The project, funded by the Department of Biotechnology, aims to identify and characterize genomic loci that confer anaerobic germination tolerance, early seedling vigor, and root plasticity in rice. This research is crucial for adapting rice to dry direct seeding conditions.

Eligibility
Candidates must possess a postgraduate degree in Physiology, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or a related field, along with two years of research experience. Additionally, candidates should have qualified for CSIR-UGC NET, GATE, or DST_INSPIRE, and meet the guidelines as per DST OM No. DST/PCPM/Z-06/2022 dated 26-06-2023. Preference will be given to those with an exceptional academic track record and experience in plant molecular biology.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs. 42,000/- plus 27% HRA
