The ICAR-CIPHET is seeking a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to join their project focused on the development of a device for the nondestructive estimation of tender coconut water volume. This project is part of the ANRF-Early Career Research Grant and offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology in the field of post-harvest engineering. The position is contractual and co-terminus with the project, initially for three months, with the possibility of extension based on performance.

Project Details

Duration: Initial engagement of JRF will be for three months, which may be extended subject to performance and requirement of the services of the JRF in the project/Institute.

Eligibility
Candidates must possess a degree in Agricultural Structures and Process Engineering, Food Process Engineering, Food Technology, Civil, Electronics, Structural Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or other allied degrees. A post-graduate degree in Basic Sciences is also acceptable if the candidate has completed a 3-year degree followed by a 2-year post-graduate degree. Additionally, candidates should have a minimum of two years of research experience. Knowledge of signal processing and basics of machine learning is desirable.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs. 37,000/- plus H.R.A. per month as per ANRF (SERB) Guidelines
