Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) is the first University established in 1998 by Govt. of NCT of Delhi under the provisions of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Act, 1998 read with its Amendment in 1999 The University is recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC), India under section 12B of UGC Act. The Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has been Accredited with a CGPA of 3.56 on a seven point scale at A++ Grade valid for a period of 7 years from 14-02-2023. It is a teaching and affiliating University with the explicit objective of facilitating and promoting “studies, research and extension work in emerging areas of higher education with focus on professional education, for example engineering, technology, management studies, medicine, pharmacy, nursing, education, law, etc. and also to achieve excellence in these and connected fields and other matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.”
Description
Applications are invited from eligible candidates to work as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a Department of Science and Technology (DST) sponsored project at USICT, GGSIPU, New Delhi. The details are as follows :
Project Title : “Development of AI-based tool for automated 2D-3D
comparison of smile photographs with digital dental casts”. The proposed project is directed towards Development of an Artificial Intelligence based tool for automated 2D-3D comparison of smile photographs with digital dental models. At its core the main objective is to digitally compare 3D scanned images of human dentition with the dentition visible on 2D smiling photographs and develop a computational model for automated detection of closest possible match on comparison of 3D images and 2D photographs of anterior dentition. JRF joining in this project expected to visit various site and collect the data for experiment.

Eligibility
Junior Research Fellow (JRF) 01 Post Essential Qualifications : MTech (CSE/IT/ECE) or equivalent degree with a minimum of 60% aggregate score (6.5 grade points on a scale of 10). For SC/ST category, the candidate must have secured a minimum of 55% aggregate score (6.0 grade points on a scale of 10) in masters’ degree. In addition, the candidate must have qualified CSIR/UGC NET/GPAT/GATE. Desirable Qualifications : Candidates with experience in Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), Machine Learning & MATLAB are desirable.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
INR 31,000/- per month plus HRA as per the DST
guidelines. Updated emoluments, if any, are applicable
as per the DST guidelines.
