Rural Drinking Water and Sanitation Department (RDWSD) is working towards ensuring sanitation and provide clean drinking water to the rural areas of Karnataka. It administers the Swachh Bharat Mission Gramin (SBMG) Karnataka and Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) Karnataka (also known as Mane Manege Gange) components. With a larger objective, RDWSD Karnataka was created on 4th March 2014 under Rural Development & Panchayat Raj Department Karnataka. Commissioner heads the department, and also holds the responsibility of executing the work related to drinking water and sanitation of the state’s rural areas.

Rural Drinking Water and Sanitation Department is implementing Swachh Bharath MissionGramin and Jal Jeevan Mission Schemes in Karnataka. In order to implement these schemes in time bound manner and effectively, the department is hiring eligible and dynamic consultants on contract / outsource basis.

Eligibility
Junior Consultant (Executive Engineer Level) Graduate in Civil Engineering with at least 20 years of experience in Government sector. Candidate should have served minimum in the rank of Executive Engineer applicable for minimum 5 years. Also, the candidate should have minimum 3 years of working experience in handling the water supply / sanitation works. Age Limit: The age of the candidate should not be more than 62 (Sixty Two) years as on the date of this Notification. The contract will be up to a maximum of 65 years. (On outsource basis only)
Monitoring & Evaluation Expert The candidate is required to possess a Post Graduate degree in Economics / Statistics / Public Policy from a recognized university only. 5-8 years of relevant experience in M&E, research, surveys, setting indicators, knowledge of evaluation methodologies, data collection, and data evaluation. Working on large scale missions/programs in the development sectors preferably in water and sanitation sectors.
District Project Manager(DPM) The candidate is required to possess a Post Graduate degree in Management / Social Science / Social Work / relevant professional degree from a recognized university only. Minimum 8 years relevant experience in project management / leading a team of experts in development sectors preferably in water, sanitation, and rural development. (Vacant Districts: Raichur & Ballari)
District MIS/M&E Consultant M.C.A./Statistics, M.Sc.Computer Science/ BE Computer Science from a recognized university only. 3-5 years of relevant experience in data management, data research preferably in the developmental sectors. (Vacant Districts: JJM: Bagalkote, & Gadag SBM-G: Bidar)
District Sanitation & Hygiene promotion Consultant (SH) Graduate degree in Engineering/ Social Science/ Public health / Rural Management or other relevant fields from a recognized university only. Minimum 3 years experience in relevant field and candidate should have worked in development sectors preferably in water, sanitation, health and rural development. (Vacant Districts: Chikkamagaluru & Vijayanagara (Ballari))
District SLWM Consultant Graduate in Environmental Engineering/ Civil Engineering with Specialization in Environmental Sciences from a recognized university only. Minimum 3 years experience in relevant field and should have worked in development sectors preferably in water, sanitation, and rural development. (Vacant Districts: Kolar, Belagavi & Tumkur)

- Junior Consultant (Executive Engineer Level) Rs 60,000/- & Rs.15,000/- per month will be given as a Travel Allowance.
- Monitoring & Evaluation Expert Rs.50,000/-toRs.60,000/-
