The Dr. S.S. Bhatnagar University Institute of Chemical Engineering & Technology is inviting applications for the roles of Professor of Practice and Associate Professor of Practice. These positions are designed to bring industry expertise into the academic environment, enhancing the learning experience for students and fostering a practical approach to education. The selected candidates will be responsible for teaching, mentoring students, and contributing to the institute’s research and development activities.

Position

• Professor of Practice (POP)
• Associate Professor of Practice (Associate POP)

Eligibility

• Professor of Practice (POP):  Ph.D. with relevant 10 year of experience in large conglomerate. Master’s with relevant working experience of 15 years in large Conglomerate.  B.Tech. with relevant working experience of Seventeen (17) year of experience in large conglomerate. Ph.D./Masters/B.Tech. with minimum five (5) patents and 5 years of experience in the start-up Ph.D. is desirable for guiding researchers at Ph.D. level but not mandatory for teaching.
• Associate Professor of Practice (Associate POP): Ph.D. with relevant 5 year of experience in large conglomerate. Masters with relevant working experience of 10 years in large Conglomerate. B.Tech. with relevant working experience of Twelve (12) year of experience in large conglomerate. Ph.D./Masters/B.Tech. with minimum five (5) patents and three (3) year of experience in the start-up Ph.D. is desirable for guiding researchers at Ph.D. level but not mandatory for teaching

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Professor of Practice (POPs) INR 60,000 per month
• Associate Professor of Practice (POPs) INR 50,000 per month.
