Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University, Pusa came into existence on 7th October 2016 after the conversion of Rajendra Agricultural University, Pusa, a state agricultural university, which was established in 1970 by Govt. of Bihar a historical place where the idea of agricultural research and education first took shape. The history of the place dates back to year 1905, when Agricultural Research Institute and College, Pusa was first established by the British Government in light of the recurring food scarcity in the country. In its current role, the university extends its jurisdiction and responsibility in the fields of teaching, research, and extension in context of agriculture and allied sciences to the whole country with special reference to the State of Bihar.

Eligibility
Medical Officer- 02 Post
Essential: MBBS degree recognized by MCI. or
Desirable: Post Graduate degree from a University/Institution recognized by the MCI.
One year post qualification experience in a hospital/college / corporate hospital.
T-1 -(Field/ Farm Technician) 16 Post
Essential: Matriculation from a recognized Board+ one year experience in relevant fieldin a Govt./ Quasi Govt. /PSU. or ITI in the relevant Trade
Assistant- 04 Post
Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with working knowledge of Computer Applications.
Lower Division Clerk- 12 Post
i. Intermediate/ PUC from a recognized Board or University.
ii. Proficiency in Hindi/English computer typing with minimum speed of 30 WPM.
iii. Knowledge of computer applications.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Medical Officer – Pay matrix level 9 as per 7th CPC
- Assistant -Pay matrix level 6 as per 7th CPC
- T-1 -(Field/ Farm Technician) -Pay matrix level 3 as per 7th CPC
- Lower Division Clerk -Pay matrix level 2 as per 7th CPC
