The Konkan region is distinguished from the rest of Maharashtra State by virtue of its disitinct agroclimatic conditions, soil types, topography, its location between the Sahyadri ranges and the Arabian sea, crops and cropping pattern, land holdings, and socio-economic conditions of the farmers. As such, the problems in agriculture and allied sectors are also entirely different from the other parts of Maharashtra. Due to this uniqueness, the Government of Maharashtra established the Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth on the 18th May 1972 to impart education, conduct research on location specific problems and disseminate the improved crop production technologies amongst the farming community. The university was renamed as Dr. Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, Dapoli on 12th February 2001.

Eligibility
- Young Professional – II Post No 1: Postgraduate in Computer science/ Electronics/ System analysis with experience of VR/ Al/ Robotics
- Young Professional – II Post No 2: Postgraduate in Management with basic Graduation in Agriculture and allied sciences. Experience in Agriculture Finance/Event Management will be preferred
- Young Professional – II Post No 3: Post graduation in Agriculture and allied sciences. Preference will be given to candidates having experience in instrument and equipment handling.
- Young Professional -1 Post No 4: Postgraduate or Graduate in Computer science/ Electronics/ System analysis.
- Young Professional -1 Post No 5: Postgraduate in Management with basic Graduation in Agriculture and allied sciences.
- Young Professional -1 Post No 6: Postgraduate in Fisheries sciences.
- Administrative assistants Post No 7: Any Graduate with MS-CIT and experience of office work/Administration and Typing speed of English 40 wpm, Marathi 30 wpm and shorthand speed of 80 wpm and more will be preferred
- Administrative assistants Post No.8: Graduate in Commerce with MS-CIT and experience in all accounts procedures and Tally software will be preferred.
- Administrative assistants Post No 9: Any Graduate with experience in DTP operation and Photoshop and Coral Draw. Experience in any project and project management will be preferred.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Young Professional – I Rs.25000/- Per month (fix pay)
- Young Professional – II Rs.35000/- Per month (fix pay)
- Administrative Assistants Rs.20000/- per month (fix pay)
