Project Details
Project Title: “Biogas to Methane to Hydrogen”.
Tenure: The position is purely temporary for 24 months or Co- terminus with the project, whichever is earlier.
Project Investigator: Prof. P S Kulkarni.
Eligibility
- Project Scientist- II: Essential: Ph. D. in Chemistry/ Industrial Chemistry/ Chemical Engineering with specialized demonstrable research expertise in hydrogen generation/ storage technologies.
- Senior Project Associate (SPA): Essential: M.E./M. Tech in Chemical/ Energy First Division both at Graduate and Post graduate level.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Project Scientist- II: Rs. 67,000/- (Consolidated).
- Senior Project Associate (SPA): Rs. 42,000/- (Consolidated).

Interested candidates fulfilling the eligibility conditions for above mentioned posts as mentioned in Para 1 above, may attend the ‘Walk-in-Interview’ at this Institute on 22nd September 2026 at 1100Hrs, along-with their original Certificates/Testimonials etc (together with a set of attested copies of each) for detailed scrutiny. Candidates working in Government/Public Sector Undertakings/Autonomous Bodies should produce a ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the present employer. No TA will be paid for attending the ‘Walk-in-Interview’.
