The Defence Institute of Advanced Technology, (DIAT) as it is known today, came into being as the Institute of Armament Studies in 1952 in the CME campus. In 1967, the Institute was renamed as “Institute of Armament Technology, (IAT)”, which moved to its present location at Girinagar, Pune. From the relatively narrow scope of Armament Studies alone in the Fifties, the role of the Institute was considerably enlarged by the Defence R&D Council in 1964 and further in 1981.

Description

The Department of Applied Physics of this Institute is looking for young and dynamic research scholars for the position of Project Assistant (PA) to work under Institute level research project entitled “Development of a sensor to detect human body status and Development of a mobile app to detect and analyze the sensor output”. Eligibility

Essential:
B.Sc. in Physics/ Electronic Science
OR
Diploma in Electronics Engineering Knowledge of Material Science/ Microcontroller Systems
The candidates are expected to work on Sensor Development, Control System Design and Mobile App Development.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Project Assistant(PA) Rs 20,000/- (Consolidated) Per month(@)
