The Defence Institute of Advanced Technology, (DIAT) as it is known today, came into being as the Institute of Armament Studies in 1952 in the CME campus. In 1967, the Institute was renamed as “Institute of Armament Technology, (IAT)”, which moved to its present location at Girinagar, Pune. From the relatively narrow scope of Armament Studies alone in the Fifties, the role of the Institute was considerably enlarged by the Defence R&D Council in 1964 and further in 1981.

Description

The School of Computer Engineering & Mathematical Sciences of this Institute is looking for young and dynamic research scholars for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work in ADA Sponsored Research Project entitled “Prognostic Engine Health Assessment based on Borescope images using AI approach”.

Eligibility

M.E/ M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering/ Information Technology/ Electronics & Communication or Equivalent with GATE qualification. Final year M.E./ M.Tech students who appeared for their Final thesis viva can apply.

Desirable: The candidate should have good knowledge of
Deep learning, Computer Vision, Image Processing,Hands on experience MatLab, Python, Scikit, Keras, Tensorflow, cv2

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Junior Research Fellowship – Rs. 31,000/- + HRA (as applicable
