Centre for Materials for Electronics Technology (C-MET) functions as an autonomous scientific society under Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), Govt. of India. Besides augmenting core competence, C-MET envisions attainment of self-sufficiency in the sphere of Electronic materials, components and devices to cater to India’s strategic and industrial applications, exploiting indigenous resources of raw materials.  C-MET can provide expert advice and troubleshooting service to the industry for various day-to-day problems, yield improvement and data interpretation.C-MET carries research and development on electronic materials and their processing keeping in view the development in the electronic and IT industry all over the world. Many of these programmes are for advanced electronic materials and processes with partial funding coming from various national and international funding agencies.

Description

C-MET, Thrissur Lab, invites talented persons with research aptitude for the following posts in one of the scientific projects sponsored by Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Govt. of India. Duration of the Project : upto13^th January, 2027.

Position

• Project Manager for Clean room 01 Post
• Principal Project Associate 02 (Gen1/Obc1) Post

Eligibility

Project Manager for Clean room

Qualification : Doctoral degree in Chemistry/Physics/Materials
Science/Electronic Science or Masters Degree in Engineering or
Technology in Electrical/Electronics/ Instrumentation/Mechanical with 5 years of R&D experience in academics/research institution/ industries. The required experience should be in ;- (a.) Managing advanced class-100 or 1000 clean room facility or micro/ nanofabrication facility with core responsibilities in operations and
handling of sophisticated instruments and other facilities including
clean room utility sections and related technologies (HVAC, Electrical, Gas lines , DI water plant, nitrogen plant etc. ( b.) Working experience in systems for Electronic Device fabrication & Characterizations such as Deposition techniques/PECVD/S puttering , Lithography, Diffusion, Reactive Ion Etching, AFM, FESEM, Raman Microscope, Electrical /Electronic Characterization etc.(c ). Expertise in building Management
system, chemical handling, Leakage and safety etc. The required experience shall be counted after acquiring minimum qualification.

Principal Project Associate

Qualification : Ph.D in Chemistry/ Material Science / Physics or
equivalent with four years experience in R& D in industrial or academic /research institutions in the field of 2D materials and devices, CVD, Lithography techniques, Microscopy techniques, Electrical/Electronic characterization, Clean room facilities etc..

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Project Manager for Clean room Rs. 1,25,000/- per month (consolidated).
• Principal Project Associate Rs.49,000 /- plus HRA per month.
