Description

The Central University of Rajasthan is seeking a Project Assistant for a time-bound research project titled “PtdSer Scramblase TMEM16F or ANO6: an emerging player in salivary gland physiology and potential therapeutic target in xerostomia.” This project is funded by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), a statutory body established by the ANRF Act, 2023. The project aims to explore the role of TMEM16F in salivary gland physiology, with potential implications for treating xerostomia.

Project Details

Project Title: “PtdSer Scramblase TMEM16F or ANO6: an emerging player in salivary gland physiology and potential therapeutic target in xerostomia”.

Duration: 03 years/01 (extendable for another year based on performance) (Till completion of the project).

Principle Investigator: Dr. Joydeep Aoun

Eligibility

Candidates must hold an M.Sc. in Physiology, Zoology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or any branch of life sciences with a good academic record from a recognized university. Preference will be given to candidates who are NET/GATE qualified and have experience in animal physiology, disease models, cell biology, and animal cell culture. Strong writing and communication skills are also desirable.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• As per the norms (Rs. 27000 + 10% HRA) = Rs.29700/month
