The Central University of Rajasthan is seeking qualified candidates for the temporary position of Project Staff (SRF/JRF) in the Department of Biochemistry. The research project, funded by ANRF, India, aims to develop innovative therapeutics targeting antibiotic-resistant bacteria. Project Details
Project Title: “Development of bacteriophage tail protein-based therapeutics targeting carbapenem-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii and its biofilm”.
Duration: 03 Years (2026 to 2029)
Funded by: ANRF, India
PI: Dr. Vishvanath Tiwari
Eligibility
Master’s degree or equivalent in Biochemistry/Microbiology/ Biotechnology/Life-Sciences or allied subject with a strong academic record (with minimum 55% marks or equivalent CGPA) for JRF. For the SRF application, in addition to the qualifications mentioned above, two (2) years of research experience is mandatory.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Senior Research Fellow (SRF): Rs. 42,000 + 10% HRA
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Rs. 37,000 + 10% HRA (if suitable SRF candidate is not available)
