The Central University of Punjab is conducting a walk-in interview for the recruitment of Project Technical Support – III on a short-term basis. The project aims to develop a 17-HSD5 inhibitor for PCOS treatment, funded by ICMR. The position is initially for one year, extendable based on project extension, satisfactory performance, and funding availability.

Project Title: “Pre-clinical development of 9-bromo-6-(3-bromo-4 fluorobenzyl)-6H-indolo[2,3-b] quinoxaline as 17β Hydroxysteroid Dehydrogenase type 5 inhibitor (17β-HSD5) for the treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)”.

Eligibility
Candidates must possess a three-year graduate degree in a relevant field with three years of post-qualification experience or a postgraduate degree in a relevant field. Desirable qualifications include a first-class postgraduate degree (M.Pharm/M.S.(Pharm)/Ph.D.) with one year of research experience, and expertise in biological experiments, in silico drug design, and laboratory synthesis techniques.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs. 28,000/- per month plus HRA for the first two years, with a 10% increment in the third year, subject to project extension.
