The Central University of Odisha’s Department of English Language and Literature is seeking research personnel for a project funded by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR). The project aims to explore the cultural heritage of PVTGs in India. The positions are temporary and will be governed by the university’s norms for project staff under funded projects. Successful candidates will engage in research activities that require effective communication and fieldwork skills.

Eligibility
The details of the required qualifications and experience are available on the Institute Website. For the Research Assistant position, candidates should have a Ph.D., M.Phil., NET, or Postgraduate degree in any Social Science discipline with at least 55% marks. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and effective communication skills in the Saora language are desirable. For the Field Investigator role, a graduate degree in a Social Science discipline with a minimum of 55% marks is required, along with proficiency in Saora and Odia languages.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Research Assistant: Rs 37,000 per month
- Field Investigator: Rs 20,000 per month
