Description
The Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position is part of a project titled “Development of Thrust Measurement System (TMS) for measuring pulse mode thrust for pulse width in the range of 8ms/16ms/32ms/64ms etc.” Sponsored by ISRO, this project will be supervised by Dr. Arnab Guha, Dr. Parikshit Sahatiya, and Dr. Brajesh Kumar Panigrahi from the Departments of Mechanical Engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad. The project is set to last for 24 months, providing a comprehensive research experience in a dynamic academic environment.

Eligibility
Candidates must possess M.E./M.S./M.Sc./M.Tech or equivalent degrees in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Design or Manufacturing, Applied Mechanics, Semiconductor Technology, Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS), Physics, or allied areas with at least 60% marks. A valid GATE or CSIR-UGC NET score is required, or the candidate must have graduated from IIT/NIT/IIEST/IISER or any Centrally Funded Technical Institute (CFTI). Knowledge of ANSYS/COMSOL simulations and semiconductor device fabrication is desirable, along with basic proficiency in MATLAB and LabVIEW.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Consolidated amount of Rs. 48,100 per month, including HRA as applicable.
