The Department of Zoology at Banaras Hindu University is seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Junior Research Fellow (JRF). This position is part of a research project funded by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India. The project aims to explore the role of non-coding RNA CDIR-4 in the immune evasion strategies of head and neck squamous cell carcinomas. The position is temporary and will last for the duration of the project, which is three years.

Duration: sanctioned for three years.

Eligibility

Candidates must hold an M.Sc. degree in Zoology, Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related area with at least 55% marks from a recognized university. Additionally, candidates should have qualified NET/GATE to be eligible for this position. 

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

  • Rs. 37,000/- per month + HRA 18%
