The project titled “Design and development of phlorotannin-encapsulated liposomal formulations for efficient drug delivery” is a futuristic marine research initiative. The selected Junior Research Fellow will be involved in innovative research aimed at enhancing drug delivery systems using marine algae-derived compounds. This role is supported by DBT-BIRAC, ensuring a robust framework for scientific exploration and development.

Project Details
Project Title: “Design and development of phlorotannin-encapsulated liposomal formulations for the efficient treatment of melanoma and Alzheimer’s disease”.
Duration: The fellowship will be offered initially for a period of 6 months, which can be extended depending on the performance of the candidate and availability of funds.

Eligibility
Candidates must possess an MSc in Biotechnology or Biochemistry. Desirable qualifications include hands-on training in animal cell culture and molecular biology techniques, experience in the isolation and characterization of phytocompounds, and knowledge of marine algae and drug delivery systems. Proficiency in English communication is also essential.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Consolidated salary of ₹31,750 per month
