The National Institute of Technology Silchar, Assam, invites applications from interested, motivated, and eligible Indian citizens for a temporary position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF). This opportunity is part of a WB-DSTBT funded project in collaboration with Nephrocare India Pvt. Ltd. The project aims to design and develop a low-cost hemodialysis machine with remote monitoring capabilities, leveraging AI-based indigenous technology.

Eligibility

Applicants must hold a first-class degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Robotics Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering. The age limit is 28 years as of 16.02.2025, with relaxations applicable as per government norms.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• INR 25,000 per month for the first two years
• INR 30,000 per month in the third year (as SRF)
