Description

The project titled “Effect of add-on Yoga based intervention on neurophysiological attention mechanisms in schizophrenia-a randomized controlled trial” is a temporary position with a consolidated salary. The initial appointment is for one year, with the possibility of renewal based on performance. The research is spearheaded by Dr. Ramajayam Govindaraji at the Indian Knowledge System & Mental Health Applications Centre (IKSMHA) at IIT Mandi.

Eligibility

Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Yoga or a Bachelor’s degree in Yoga & Naturopathy Science or equivalent, along with two years of research experience. The age limit is 35 years, with possible relaxation for candidates with exceptional records and as per government reservation norms. Experience in EEG & fMRI data acquisition is desirable.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

  • Rs 35,000/- per month plus HRA for NET/GATE qualified candidates
  • Rs 28,000/- per month plus HRA for others
