The University College of Engineering, BIT Campus, Tiruchirappalli, a constituent college of Anna University, Chennai, is seeking a qualified candidate for a temporary position as a Project Assistant. This role is part of a project titled “Development of Thermoelectric Paint for Ambient Heat Harvesting,” funded by the Government of Tamil Nadu. The project aims to explore innovative solutions in energy harvesting using thermoelectric materials.

Eligibility
Candidates must possess a first-class undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Chemical Engineering, Petrochemical Technology, Materials Science, Biotechnology, Nanotechnology, Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent disciplines. Desirable qualifications include knowledge in thermoelectric materials, heat transfer, energy harvesting techniques, and coating technologies. Experience in nanomaterials synthesis, characterization, and hands-on experience with analytical instruments such as SEM, XRD, and UV-Vis is preferred.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty-Five Thousand Only) consolidated per month
