Anna University was established on 4th September, 1978 as a unitary type of University. This University was named after Late Dr.C.N.Annadurai, former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. It offers higher education in Engineering, Technology, Architecture and Applied Sciences relevant to the current and projected needs of the society. Besides promoting research and disseminating knowledge gained therefrom, it fosters cooperation between the academic and industrial communities. The University was formed by bringing together and integrating four well known technical institutions in the city of Madras (now Chennai) namely,
College of Engineering (CEG) (Established in 1794)
Alagappa College of Technology (ACT) (Established in 1944)
Madras Institute of Technology (MIT) (Established in 1949)
School of Architecture & Planning (SAP) (Established in 1957)

Description

Applications are invited from interested and eligible candidates to fill one temporary position for a project funded by the Department of Science and Technology, SERB, Govt. of India entitled:
“DEVELOPMENT OF COST EFFECTIVE LIFETIME ENHANCED CONTINUOUS GLUCOSE MONITORING ELECTROCHEMICAL SENSORS FOR TYPE I DIABETES MELLITUS – A MICRO NEEDLE BASED APPROACH”.

Eligibility

Research personnel (Project Associate-I)

1. Post graduate degree in basic science (M.Sc in Physics/Chemistry/Nanotechnology/Biotechnology) or professional course (M.E/M.Tech in ECE/BME specialization) selected through national eligibility
   tests (CSIR-UGC NET, GATE, National Level examinations conducted by central government departments and institutions).
2. Two years of research experience.
   Candidates with prior experience in funded projects/nanomaterials/biomedical devices/sensor design are encouraged to apply

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Emoluments: Rs.31000 pm + 24% HRA as per DST and Institution Norms.

The position is purely temporary and renewable each year subject to satisfactory performance for a maximum of three year or till the completion of project whichever is earlier. Original documents of age proof/certificates/degrees/mark sheets must be presented at the time of interview.
Selection Procedure: Through written test and interview
Only shortlisted candidates will be communicated to appear in the interview and no other communication in this regard will be entertained. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
