Anna University was established on 4th September, 1978 as a unitary type of University. This University was named after Late Dr.C.N.Annadurai, former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. No.:6138/RUSA2.0/PD3/2024-1 Dated: 14.03.2024 Engagement Of Junior Research Fellow & Technical Assistant Ug-Ii/ Skilled Lab Assistant – II “Development of Energy Efficient Motor Drive System for Electric Vehicle (PO2)” (RUSA 2.0 – Electric Vehicles Technologies – Smart material characterization, Manufacturing and Gird Management). Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the temporary posts of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Technical Assistant (UG)-II and Skilled Lab Assistant-II t o be engaged in the thematic area “Development of Energy Efficient Motor Drive System for Electric Vehicle (PO2)” under RUSA 2.0 at Anna University, Chennai – 600025.

Eligibility

1.Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Essential: UG: First class B.E/B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering / Electrical Engineering. PG: First class M.E/M.Tech in Power Electronics and Drives / Electrical Drives and Control / Control and Instrumentation Engineering.

Desirable: Capable of using MATLAB Tools for Multilevel Inverter, Multiphase Induction motor, Synchronous Reluctance motor and Switched Reluctance motor. Hardware implementation for Electrical machines and drives under closed loop operation (any processor like FPGA, Microcontrollers, etc…).

2.Technical Assistant UG-II (Under Skilled Manpower) Essential: UG: First class B.E/B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering / Electrical Engineering. Desirable: Capable of having Simulation expertise in Electrical machines and drives in software like MATLAB.

3.Skilled Lab Assistant – II (Under Skilled Manpower) Essential: First class Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering / Electrical Engineering. Desirable: Capable of having Simulation expertise in Electrical machines and drives in software like MATLAB.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• JRF 32,500 (Consolidated)
• TA Rs. 200 per hour (Restricted to a maximum of 100 Hours/ month)
• SKA Rs. 150 per hour (Restricted to a maximum of 100 Hours/ month)
