Anna University was established on 4th September, 1978 as a unitary type of University. This University was named after Late Dr.C.N.Annadurai, former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. It offers higher education in Engineering, Technology, Architecture and Applied Sciences relevant to the current and projected needs of the society. Besides promoting research and disseminating knowledge gained therefrom, it fosters cooperation between the academic and industrial communities. Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the temporary posts of Technical Assistants (TA), Technical Assistant (UG)-II and Skilled Lab Assistant-II to be engaged in various projects under RUSA at Anna University.

Desirable
☛ ME in Power System Engineering, Power Electronics and Drives, Power Engineering and Management, High Voltage Engg., Control and Instrumentation, Embedded System Technology, Embedded and Real System
☛ Experience in handling practical power quality measurements at sites.
☛ Prior Experience with soldering is highly preferable.
☛ Basic knowledge in Electric vehicles, Power quality, Electrical design (Single Line and Detailed Engineering diagrams)
☛ Working knowledge on AutoCAD and Matlab/SIMULINK/Real Time Simulator
Technical Assistant (UG)-II BE/B.Tech /BS in Electrical and Electronics Engineering , Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering and Automobile Engineering

Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Technical Assistant (TA) : Rs. 20000/month
- Technical Assistant (UG)-II : Rs. 200/Hour (UG) – (Restricted to 100hrs per month)
- Skilled Lab Assistant-II : Rs. 150/Hour (Diploma) – (Restricted to 100hrs per month)
