Anna University was established on 4th September, 1978 as a unitary type of University. This University was named after Late Dr.C.N.Annadurai, former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. It offers higher education in Engineering, Technology, Architecture and Applied Sciences relevant to the current and projected needs of the society. Description

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the temporary post of Project Assistant (Pr.A1) to be engaged in the CMRG project “Material and Design Parameters Optimization of Horizontal Axis Magnus Wind Turbine” sanctioned by Commissioner of Technical Education, Directorate of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu at Department of Mechanical Engineering, Anna University Regional Campus, Coimbatore.

Project will be carried out at Department of Mechanical Engineering, Anna University Regional Campus Coimbatore, Maruthamalai Main Road, Navavoor, Coimbatore – 641 046.

Eligibility

Project Assistant (Pr.A1)
Essential: Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Engineering / Technology (Mechanical / Design /Thermal / Manufacturing / Production / Metallurgy / CAD/CAM) from a recognized University or equivalent First Class with Minimum 60% marks or 6.5/10 CGPA in B.E / B.Tech and M.E / M.Tech)
Desirable: Knowledge in Manufacturing Processes and CAE Software Package is desirable.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Project Assistant (Pr.A1) 25,000/-(Consolidated)
