The Department of Civil Engineering at the College of Engineering Guindy, Anna University, Chennai, is seeking a qualified Project Assistant for a research project titled “Potential Use of Fine Steel Slag as Fine Aggregate in Controlled Low Strength Material for Geotechnical Applications.” This project is sponsored by the CMRG 2025-26, Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), Tamil Nadu. The selected candidate will work under the guidance of Dr. B. Soundara, Assistant Professor, and will be involved in cutting-edge research aimed at exploring sustainable materials in civil engineering.

Eligibility
Candidates must possess a B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering or an M.E/M.Tech in specializations such as Soil Mechanics and Foundation Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Engineering and Management, Structural Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or any other closely related fields. A higher degree such as a Ph.D. is also acceptable. The candidate should ensure their eligibility before applying, as only eligible candidates will be called for the interview.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
