Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar invites applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the research group headed by Dr. Hari Sai Ganesh (https://iitgn.ac.in/faculty/chemical/fac-hari).
The title of the project is “Explicit Stochastic Model Predictive Control for an Energy System under Operational Uncertainties”. The candidate is expected to develop or implement explicit model predictive control on an energy system under operational uncertainties. Knowledge of Numerical Methods, Modeling and Simulation, Process Control, and Optimization is desirable. Computer programming skills in either MATLAB or Python is required.

Eligibility
- B.Tech/B.E. or M.Tech./M.E. in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Civil Engineering with at least 70% marks or 7.0 CGPA.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- a) Rs. 31,000 per month + HRA, as applicable (for B.Tech./B.E. with a valid GATE score and M.Tech./M.E.).
- b) Rs. 25,000 per month + HRA, as applicable (for B.Tech./B.E. without a valid GATE score).
