Description

The ABV-IIITM is seeking a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to contribute to a cutting-edge project focused on developing a socially-interactive vacuum cleaning robot. This project addresses unique challenges in the Indian market, such as targeted cleaning and human interaction, by enabling robots to understand and respond to human instructions through speech and gestures. The project is a collaboration with NIT Mizoram and offers the potential for candidates to enrol in a Ph.D. program.

Eligibility

Candidates must possess an MTech/M.S./M.E. or equivalent in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Information Technology (IT), Electronics and Communication (EC), or Electrical Engineering. A B.Tech/B.E./M.Sc. in the same fields is also required. Desirable qualifications include knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, robotics, or large language models.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Remuneration will be as per the DST norms.
