Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the position of JRF in an IBITF Project funded research project with the following details:

Junior Research Fellow JRF

Eligibility

Essential qualifications:
1.      MTech/ME/MS in Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engg. or related topics with a minimum of 60% aggregate score.
2.      Qualified in any of the following points:
a.       GATE qualification
b.      CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship)
c.       National-level examination conducted by Central Govt. Departments and their agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc
d.   2 years of professional experience

Desirable: This is a leadership position involving effective overall management of the project through its completion. Lead the project’s administrative aspects and coordinate team members’ activities to achieve desired results. Ability to work independently with limited supervision and support efficient project implementation. The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines is also desired. Strong interpersonal communication and excellent oral presentation, preparation of reports, and project-related correspondence with all the stakeholders. Strong background in academic setups. Coordination with internal stakeholders of the institute Preference will be given to the candidates’ working experience relevant to the project. Candidates with expertise in the following are strongly encouraged to apply Expertise in Design of Electrical machines, vibration analysis of machines, machine learning algorithms, support vector machine with vibration characterization techniques and analysis.

Candidates with expertise in the following areas are also strongly encouraged to apply:

1)Expertise in Python and C++ and/or MATLAB
2)Experience in digital control, Electrical machines, specifically in support vector machine with vibration characterization
3) Desirable: Experience in vibration analysis of machines
4) Leadership and management quality (experience in organizing workshop, seminars)
5) Expertise in technical writing and research publication.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Salary: Rs. 37,000/- per month
