Applications are invited from eligible candidates for engaging the following Project Personnel in Atomic Minerals Directorate for Exploration & Research (AMD) purely on temporary contract basis

Position

  • Laboratory Assistant (Physics)
  • Project Associate-I (Geology / Geophysics / Electronics Engineer)

Eligibility

Laboratory Assistant (Physics) B.Sc. in Physics with any other two subjects out of Mathematics, Chemistry and Geology with 60% marks in aggregate.

Project Associate-I (Geology)
M.Sc. or equivalent M.Tech. in Geology / Applied Geology / Applied Geochemistry with Geology at B.Sc. or 5-year integrated M.Sc. Tech./M.Tech. in Applied Geology/Geological Technology. Eligible candidates must have two subjects out of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry up to B.Sc. or at subsidiary and / or ancillary level in case of 5-year integrated M.Sc. Tech/ 5-year integrated M.Tech., with minimum of 60%* aggregate marks in M.Sc. Tech./ M.Tech. All eligible candidates (other than those applying with a 5-year integrated M.Sc. Tech./ M.Tech. degree) must have a minimum of 60%* aggregate marks in B. Sc. * A minimum of 60% marks means the marks as per the ordinances of the respective university.

Project Associate-I (Geophysics)
M.Sc. in Geophysics/Applied Geophysics or 5-year integrated M.Sc. Tech./M.Tech. in Applied Geophysics. Eligible candidates must have Mathematics and Physics up to B.Sc. or at subsidiary and/or ancillary level in case of 5-year integrated M.Sc. Tech. / M.Tech., with a minimum of 60%* aggregate marks in M.Sc. Tech./ M.Tech. All eligible candidates (other than those applying with a 5-year integrated M.Sc. Tech. / M.Tech. degree) must have a minimum of 60%* aggregate marks in B. Sc. * A minimum of 60% marks means the marks as per the ordinances of the respective university

Project Associate-I (Electronics Engineer)
B.E. / B.Tech. in Electronics engineering with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks. A minimum of 60% marks means the marks as per the ordinances of the respective university

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

  • Laboratory Assistant (Physics) Rs. 20,000/- plus House Rent Allowance as applicable
  • Project Associate-I (Geology/Geophysics/Electronics Engineer) 31,000/- plus House Rent Allowance as applicable. In the event of extending the term of engagement/induction by one more year, the candidates who are engaged/inducted as Project Associate-I for a period of two years shall be re-designated as Project Associate-II and shall be paid a consolidated remuneration of Rs 35,000/- plus House Rent Allowance as applicable for the period beyond two years
