MANAGE was established in 1987, as the National Centre for Management of Agricultural Extension at Hyderabad, by the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Government of India as an autonomous Institute, from which its acronym ‘MANAGE’ is derived. In recognition of its importance and expansion of activities all over the country, its status was elevated to that of a National Institute in 1992 and re-christened to its present name i.e., National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management. MANAGE is the Indian response to challenges of agricultural extension in a rapidly growing and diverse agriculture sector. The policies of liberalization and globalization of the economy and the level of agricultural technology becoming more sophisticated and complex, called for major initiatives towards reorientation and modernization of the agricultural extension system. Effective ways of managing the extension system needed to be evolved and extension organizations enabled to transform the existing set up through professional guidance and training of critical manpower. MANAGE is the response to this imperative need.

Eligibility
Consultant (Horticulture) – Administration Essential Qualification Graduate / PG in Agri & Allied Subjects Experience Min. 2 years of experience in the relevant field (Horticulture)
Consultant – MANAGE Centre for Climate Change and Adaptation Post Graduate in Agriculture in Extension / Agricultural Economics with minimum five years’ experience in agricultural/related development activities and academic program implementation.
Experience
☛ The candidates having minimum of five years of experience in the field of agricultural development are preferred
☛ Should have experience in teaching / research / field extension / training / implementation of agricultural related programs
☛ Should possess Good Documentation and Communication Skills
☛ Should have Knowledge on computer
Consultant – Center for Entrepreneurship Development (CAD) Essential Qualification
☛ PGDM/Master degree in Agricultural Sciences
☛ 2 yrs. experience working in projects in State/ Centre departments/ Universities.
Desirable
☛ Preference will be given to retired banker with agricultural educational qualification.

☛ Working Knowledge in computer
☛ Willing to travel for MANAGE activities across the country
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Consultant (Horticulture) – Administration Monthly Salary Rs 42,000/- per month
- Consultant – MANAGE Centre for Climate Change and Adaptation Monthly Salary Consolidated Remuneration of Rs.42,000/- per month
- Consultant – Center for Entrepreneurship Development (CAD) Monthly Salary Rs.42,000/- per month
