Sports Authority of India (SAI) was set up in 1984 to carry forward the legacy of the IXth Asian Games held in New Delhi in 1982 under the Department of Sports. SAl has been entrusted with the twin objectives of promoting sports and achieving sporting excellence at the national and international level. SAI was set up as a Society registered of Societies Act, 1860 in pursuance of the Resolution No. 1-1/83/SAI dated 25th January 1984 of the Department of Sports, Govt. of India with the objective of promotion of Sports and Games as detailed in the Resolution. SAI has played a significant role in shaping India’s sports development by providing training to elite athletes and at the same time operating a number of schemes for the identification and development of young talent.
Sports Authority of India, Netaji Subhas Regional Centre, Lucknow was established at Lucknow in the year 2004. This Centre was inaugurated by the then Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee (Bharat Ratna) on 23rd February’ 2004. The present complex sprawled in 65 Acres of land provided by government of Uttar Pradesh. All the modern infrastructures, sports facilities required for the elite class of sportspersons are available at this Centre.

Sports Authority of India (SAI) is an autonomous organization under the Administrative control of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports with its Head office at Jawaharlal Nehru Sports Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110003. In an effort for strengthening the sports ecosystem and to bring more laurels in the Olympics, SAI has established 23 National Centres of Excellence (NCOEs).
SAI invites applications from eligible, qualified and motivated Indian Citizens for providing consultancy as Young Professional on contract basis initially for a period of 02 Years and extendable for 01 more year at NCOE Lucknow.

Eligibility
Young Professionals (Athlete Relation Manager) Graduate in any discipline with certificate/Diploma course in sports management (certificate/diploma duration must be more than 06 months) from a reputed institute. or MBA/Post Graduate Diploma (2 Years) from a recognized university.
Candidates who have participated in nationals and international level in Olympic Sports Disciplines would be given preference
Young Professional (Legal) Bachelors of Law (LLB) from a recognized university in India. 1 year experience (In relevant field as mentioned in Job Description) Masters of Law (LLM) from a recognized university in India. OR Specialization in Sports Law. Experience in any Government/ Autonomous/PSU in Legal cases.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Young Professionals (Athlete Relation Manager) Rs. 40,000/- Rs. 60,000/
- Young Professional (Legal) Rs. 40,000/- Rs. 60,000/
