The Department of Science and Technology, Government of Gujarat, is seeking qualified candidates for the roles of Research Associate-I and Project Associate-I. These positions are integral to a research initiative aimed at enhancing crop productivity through innovative agri-inputs derived from seaweed polysaccharides. The project is temporary and will conclude with the project’s end.

Project Details

Project Title: “Developing Multi-utility Seaweed Polysaccharide Based Agri-inputs for Enhanced Crop Productivity and Sustainability”

Duration:  Initially for 1 year (extended to next year, subject to satisfactory performance) Total project duration: 2 years

PI: Dr. Nitin Trivedi, Dr. Neelam Kungwani

CO-PI:  Dr. Gunjan Sharma

Eligibility

• Research Associate-I: Ph.D./MD/MS/MDS or equivalent degree or having 3 years of research, teaching and design and development experience after MVSC/M.Pharm/ME/MTech with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.
• Project Associate-I: Master’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences MVSC or bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology or medicine from a recognized University or equivalent  

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Research Associate-I: ₹58,000 + HRA
• Project Associate-I: ₹25,000 + HRA
