Description

The Director of DIA-CoE at Mizoram University will serve as the administrative and executive head, responsible for strategic guidance and management of the centre. The role involves developing long-term research and technology roadmaps, ensuring efficient project execution, and securing industrial collaborations for technology translation. The Director will also facilitate agreements and technical contracts with stakeholders such as DRDO, industries, and academia, while driving knowledge dissemination through workshops and seminars.

Eligibility

Candidates must possess an essential qualification in Engineering, Technology, or Science from a recognized university, along with 25 years of experience in technology domains or defence. A PhD in a relevant field is desirable, along with experience in collaborative projects, strategic research planning, and technology transfer. The applicant should be below 62 years of age as of the closing date of applications.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• For non-government employees: Rs. 1,72,200 – 1,99,600 based on experience, plus applicable allowances.
• For Retired Central/State Government employees: Remuneration as per the last drawn salary minus pension, in line with government norms.
