The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore Campus, is seeking applications for a Post Doc Position. The role focuses on Quantum image representation, Quantum algorithms, Quantum signal processing, and quantum Fourier transform. Project Details
Project Title: “Post Doc Position Quantum image representation, Quantum algorithms, Quantum signal processing and quantum Fourier transform”.
Duration: One Year
Research Focus Areas: Quantum image representation and encoding techniques (FRQI, NEQR, QPIE)
Quantum algorithms for image enhancement, filtering, and edge detection.
Quantum signal processing and quantum Fourier transform-based spectral analysis.
Quantum machine learning for image classification, segmentation, and
pattern recognition.
Hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for denoising and compression of
images/signals.
Quantum-inspired optimization for signal reconstruction and feature
extraction.
Eligibility
Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in ECE, EEE, Computer Science Engineering, Quantum Computing, Signal Processing, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Information and Communication Engineering, or other relevant disciplines from premier institutes. Experience in quantum computing, quantum information processing, digital image and signal processing, machine and deep learning, and soft computing algorithms is desirable. A good publication record and skills in Qiskit, PennyLane, Cirq, MATLAB, Simulink, Python, and quantum simulators are required.
