The National Institute of Plant Genome Research (NIPGR) is seeking qualified candidates for the roles of Project Associate-I and Technical Assistant. These positions are part of a project funded by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India, under the supervision of Dr. Aashish Ranjan. Project Title: “Discovery of indigenous genome editing tools and developing high-yielding rice varieties (BT/PR53972/PBN/18/25/2024)”.
Duration: the purely temporary position
Funded by: DBT
Project Investigator: Dr. Aashish Ranjan
Eligibility
- Project Associate-I: Candidates having M.Sc. Degree in Life Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Plant Physiology/ Genetics & Plant Breeding/ Bioinformatics or equivalent with at least 60 % (or equivalent) marks.
- Technical Assistant: Candidates having B.Sc. Degree or 3-year diploma in engineering & technology.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Project Associate-I: ₹31,000/- + 27% HRA per month
- Technical Assistant: ₹20,000/- + 27% HRA per month
