Eligibility
Candidates must have an M.Sc. in Plant Biotechnology, Botany, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or an allied area with at least 55% marks. Additionally, candidates must have qualified CSIR/UGC NET with at least NET (LS) or Category-1/2/3 of CSIR-UGC NET/WB SET/GATE. Desirable qualifications include research experience in plant tissue culture, plant transformation, plant biotechnology, and molecular biology. Basic knowledge in plant biology is essential.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Year 1 and 2: ₹25,000 (consolidated)
- Year 3: ₹30,000 (consolidated)
