Project Details
Project Title: “Exploration of Marine Microbial Communities for Identification of Promising Hits/Leads with Potential Activity Against Tuberculosis/Leishmaniasis and as a Source of Pharmaceutically Important Enzymes”.
Duration: The position is purely temporary in nature and co-terminus with the project.
Eligibility
The candidate must hold a PhD in Organic Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Process Chemistry, Natural Products, or Medicinal Chemistry from a recognized university. Experience in organic synthesis, purification techniques, and spectral characterization is preferred. Candidates with experience in isolating and characterizing secondary metabolites from natural sources such as plants and marine organisms are highly desirable. The age limit is 35 years as of 23rd July 2026.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- 58,000 INR per month + 27% House Rental Allowance (HRA)
