Description
The Senior Research Fellow will be engaged in a DBT-funded project focusing on virology research. The role involves conducting laboratory experiments, processing and analysing clinical and research samples, performing molecular and immunological assays, and contributing to data collection and analysis. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining research records, preparing reports and manuscripts, and participating in other project-related activities as directed by the Principal Investigator.

Project Details
Project Title: “Advancing Pandemic Preparedness: Innovative Multidisciplinary Strategies for combating Severe Dengue”.
Duration of the Project: Initially for a period of One year and extendable up to four years based on performance and project requirements.
Eligibility
Candidates must possess an M.Sc. in Virology, Microbiology, or Biotechnology from a recognized university or institution, along with two or more years of research experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have qualified in a National Eligibility Test such as CSIR-UGC or GATE. Experience in dengue/Arbo virology, viral infections, molecular diagnostics, cell culture, molecular biology techniques, immunological assays, or handling clinical samples is highly desirable.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs. 42,000 + 10% HRA per month
