The Institute of Nano Science and Technology (INST) Mohali is seeking applications for the role of Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) as part of an ICMR-funded project. Project Details
Project Title: “Non-Invasive Diagnostic Sweat-Sensing Patch for Affordable Monitoring in Septicemia”.
Duration: Initially six months and may be extended based on performance of the candidate and Availability of funds.

Eligibility
Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical): candidates must possess a PhD in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biomedical Device, Nanotechnology, Bioelectronics, Biomedical Sciences or Nanoscience. Additionally, candidates should have experience in developing skin patch devices, piezoelectric biomaterials, scaffold development using electrospinning, or electrochemical sensor devices.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical): INR 56,000 + HRA (INR 5600) = INR 61,600 per month.
- Project Technical Support-III: INR 28,000 + HRA (INR 2800) = INR 30,800 /month.

The position is purely temporary and on contractual basis. The position is co-terminus with the project.
