The National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS) is seeking a qualified Research Associate Grade III to join their team on a contract basis. This position is part of a project funded by the Extra-Mural DHR-Centre for Evidence-based Guidelines. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of Dr. Vijaykumar Harbishettar, focusing on systematic reviews and meta-analyses in the field of mental health.

Project Details

Project Title: “NIMHANS Technical Resource Centre under DHR-Centre for Evidence Based Guidelines”.

Duration: 12 months recurring/non-recurring

Principle Investigator: Dr Vijaykumar Harbishettar.

Eligibility

Candidates must possess a PhD in a relevant branch of Life Sciences, Social Sciences (Clinical Psychology, Psychiatric Social Work, Neurosciences, Cognitive Sciences, or Behavioural Sciences or Public Health) or an MD/MS/MDS or equivalent postgraduate medical degree. Additionally, candidates with an MPH with Science are eligible. Experience in conducting systematic reviews and meta-analyses, familiarity with grading evidence, and good writing skills are desirable. A minimum of two years of research experience is essential.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

  • Rs. 67,000 + 30% HRA per month
