Project Details
Project Title: “Conferring broad-spectrum pathogen resistance in tomato by manipulating miR159 biogenesis and expression of its targets”.
Duration: The position is available immediately and up to June 2031, subject to renewal of the grant by the funding agency.
Principle Investigator: Prof. Ashis Kumar Nandi
Eligibility
- Senior Project Associate: Should have M.Sc. in any branch of Life Sciences and Ph.D. in the area of Plant Biology. Candidates who submitted their Ph.D. Ph.D. work in the area of plant molecular biology and plant-pathogen interaction will be preferred.
- Field Worker: Should pass B.Sc., from any branch of Life Sciences. At least 6 months of experience working as a Project assistant/ field worker in a plant biology laboratory will be preferred.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Senior Project Associate: Rs 57,000.00 per month + HRA 30%
- Field Worker: Rs 24,000.00 per month + HRA 30%
