The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Tirupati is seeking applications from qualified Indian nationals for the position of Research Associate-1. This role is part of a project titled “Unravelling design criteria for engineering tunable multi-exitonic emission in low dimensional metal halide hybrids through doping/co-doping synthetic strategy,” under the guidance of Principal Investigator Dr. Janardan Kundu. Project Details
Project Title: “Unravelling design criteria for engineering tunable multi-exitonic emission in low dimensional metal halide hybrids through doping/co-doping synthetic strategy”.
Duration: The position is temporary for six months, with an extension for six months after the performance review (depending on funds availability).
Principal Investigator: Dr. Janardan Kundu.
Eligibility
Candidates must hold a Ph.D. degree in Chemical Sciences. Those who have submitted their thesis and are awaiting the award of their Ph.D. degree may also apply. Applicants should demonstrate evidence of high-quality research conducted during or after their Ph.D. program. Experience in growing single crystals of metal halide hybrids and/or expertise in crystallography and optical spectroscopy is highly desirable.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs.58,000/- per month + 10% HRA for candidates with a Ph.D. certificate.
- Rs.42,000/- per month + 10% HRA for candidates awaiting their Ph.D. degree.
