The Institute of Infrastructure, Technology, Research and Management (IITRAM) is inviting applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF). This opportunity is part of the Centre of Excellence – Smart, Sustainable and Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (COE-SSDRI) project, funded by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Gujarat. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in Civil Engineering, particularly those interested in Transportation and Environmental Engineering.

Description

The Institute of Infrastructure, Technology, Research and Management (IITRAM), an autonomous university established by the Government of Gujarat, is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Junior Research Fellow. This position is part of a project aimed at advancing research in smart, sustainable, and disaster-resilient infrastructure. The selected candidates will engage in research activities, perform laboratory tests, and coordinate project-related activities, including field visits.

Project Details

Project Title: “Centre of Excellence – Smart, Sustainable and Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (COE-SSDRI)”.

Duration: Maximum 03 years.

Principle Investigator: Dr. Mahesh Mungule, Dr. Veerabhadrappa M. Rotte, Dr. Manoj Langhi, Dr. Jaidevi Jeyaraman, Dr. Yogesh Shah

Eligibility

   Candidates must possess a master’s degree in any specialization of Civil Engineering/Technology with First Class or a bachelor’s degree in relevant subjects of Civil Engineering/Technology with First Class. Candidates with a B.Tech. and a high CPI GATE qualification are also eligible. Those in their final year of study awaiting their degree certificate may apply. Experience with civil engineering laboratory tests and technical writing skills are desirable.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Stipend of Rs.30,000/- plus HRA of Rs.7,200/- per month
