The National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli (NIT Trichy) is inviting applications from eligible Indian nationals for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under a prestigious research project. The project, funded by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation under the Prime Minister Early Career Research Grant, focuses on cutting-edge technology in power management circuits.

Description

The project titled “Miniaturized DC-DC Buck Converters, and Nano-Power MOSFET Zero Temperature Coefficient (ZTC) Operating Point Based PMU Infrastructure Circuits” is spearheaded by Dr. Manikandan R R, Assistant Professor at the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, NIT Trichy. The research aims to innovate in the field of power management integrated circuits, focusing on design, simulation, and testing of advanced circuits.

• Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/Project Associate I

Project Details

Project Title: “Miniaturized DC-DC Buck Converters, and Nano-Power MOSFET Zero Temperature Coefficient (ZTC) Operating Point Based PMU Infrastructure Circuits”. 

Duration: Maximum 3 years (Initially 3 months and will be Extended up to 3 years).

Eligibility

Candidates must possess a B.E/B.Tech or M.E/MTech degree with first class in ECE, EEE, or Instrumentation and Control Engineering from a UGC recognized university. A valid GATE score is required for the JRF position. The upper age limit for JRF is 32 years, with relaxations applicable for SC/ST and OBC candidates.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• JRF: Rs. 37,000 + HRA (first 2 years), Rs. 42,000 + HRA (3rd year)
• Project Associate I: Rs. 30,000 + HRA (first 2 years), Rs. 33,000 + HRA (3rd year)
