Description
The Research Assistant position at IIITDM Kancheepuram involves designing data collection tools, conducting field visits to schools across Tamil Nadu, and processing and analyzing collected data. The role supports the Principal Investigator (PI) and Co-Principal Investigators (Co-PIs) in data analysis and report preparation. This position is part of a project funded by the A. S. Hornby Educational Trust CIO, United Kingdom, focusing on the use of bilingual dictionaries as pedagogic tools in ESL classrooms.

Eligibility
Candidates must hold an M.A. in English, Linguistics, Social Science, or Education. Proficiency in both Tamil and English is essential, along with a willingness to travel extensively for data collection. Prior field research experience in education-related projects is desirable. The age limit is 40 years as of the application deadline, with age relaxation applicable as per Government of India norms.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Stipend: ₹37,000 per month
