Description
The Department of Chemistry at IISER Bhopal is seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) or Project Assistant. This position is part of a SERB EMR project titled “Hexavalent Organotellurium: Late Main Group Catalysts for the Activation of Small Molecules and Asymmetric Transformations.” The project duration is initially set for six months, with the possibility of extension based on satisfactory performance.

Eligibility
Candidates must possess a master’s degree in chemistry with a good academic record. While a valid GATE/NET qualification is preferred, it is not mandatory. Candidates with a PhD in Chemistry are also eligible. Additionally, 1-5 years of research experience in organchalcogen chemistry or asymmetric synthesis is required.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs. 37,000 per month plus House Rent Allowance (HRA) for JRF
