The Division of Microbiology at ICAR-IARI is seeking a qualified Research Associate – III to join a project titled “Biomanufacturing Platform with CO2 Capture for Novel Microbial Formulations Targeting Methane Reduction and Drought Resilience in Rice-Wheat Cropping Systems.” This project is funded by the Department of Biotechnology and aims to develop sustainable agricultural practices through advanced microbial technologies.

Eligibility

Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related discipline from a recognized university with at least 60% marks. Alternatively, a master’s degree in the same fields with a minimum of three years of relevant research experience and at least one published research paper in an SCI-indexed journal is required. Experience in agricultural or environmental microbiology and multi-institutional R&D project execution is preferred.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

  • Research Associate – III: Rs. 67,000 + 27% HRA
  • Senior Research Fellow: Rs. 42,000 + 27% HRA
