Description

The JRF position is part of a project titled “Silicon Photonic Chip-based N? N Photonic Switches for 6G and beyond,” led by Prof. Devendra Chack from the Department of Electronics Engineering at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad. The project focuses on designing integrated Silicon Photonic N? N optical switches, validating their performance through simulations, and preparing fabrication-ready layouts. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in photonics and telecommunications.

  • Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Eligibility

First Class or First Division with minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in M. Tech. / M.E. / MS in Electronics / Electronics & Communication / Electronics & Telecommunication or related field [OR] B. Tech / B.E. or equivalent degree in Electronics / Electronics & Communication / Electronics & Tele-communication [OR] M.Sc in Electronics, [OR] M.Sc. in Physics (Specialization in Electronics/Photonics). The candidate must have qualified GATE/NET.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

  • Rs. 37,000/- for the 1st and 2nd Year
  • Rs. 42,000/- for the 3rd Year
