Description

The Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology is seeking a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on a project titled “Development of high return biogas slurry processing system for CO2 absorption, energy, and fertilizer.” This project is funded by the Institute Research Grant (IRG) and is sanctioned for a duration of three years. The selected candidate will initially be appointed for six months, with the possibility of extension based on performance. The project aims to innovate in the field of CO2 utilization and biogas slurry processing, offering a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of sustainable energy solutions.

  • Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Eligibility

Candidates must possess a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Chemical Engineering, Petrochemical, Petroleum Engineering, or an M.Sc. in Chemistry with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized university. Additionally, candidates should have a valid NET/GATE score. Knowledge of CO2 utilization, biogas slurry, and programming skills in Python, MATLAB, or C++ will be advantageous. Relaxations in qualifications and age are applicable as per Government of India guidelines for SC/ST/OBC/Physically Challenged candidates.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

  • Rs. 37,000/- per month
